Since his seventh year,he lives in Berlin.There he became a student of french high school.His family re-moved in London again in 1998,and he left to live with his father in Berlin.When Jay was 15 years old,Mark Dollar (the current manager and producer of the band),engaged him as songwiter.Alredy on the first album,”Here We Go”,he has co-operated in the writing of songs.In the band,he quickly assumed the role of “big brother” who cares about others.In 2007,he met German model,Lena Gercke,and soon they started a relationship.
